This episode is dedicated to you if you have been waiting for a sign in life.
So many of us spend the majority of our lives waiting for the reassurance that we are ready to reach for what we have always wanted.
Whether it’s leaving a toxic relationship, moving to a new place, quitting the job you hate or starting a new business. We act as if a big neon sign is going to drop miraculously in front of our house and it will say on it that you are ready now.
But we all know that’s not how it works and I hate to break it to you but if you were waiting for a sign of any sort, then this episode is it.
If you asked me if I would ever have my own podcast half an year ago, the answer would be a definite no. I was interviewed on my first podcast 6 months ago and I fell in love with podcasting, 16 more interviews later now, I launched my own podcast.
I am no one special, but I am unique as you ALL are, did I wait for when I’m ready? No, I didn’t wait, I thought to myself if my podcast help even just one listener, I will have done MY part of contribution to a better world.
I’m just here to remind you that anything is possible, there is always a way and you get to decide to the kind of life you live. I didn’t care about what others might think of me or look at what others are doing, I do my thing! And I do it without loosing myself or sacrificing my priorities.
So two months ago, when I first wanted to start a podcast, I told myself OK I’m going to ask a stranger on Instagram to be my first guest, if she says yes, I’ll take it as a sign to launch my podcast in September. So I did exactly that, I befriended Jennifer Sutto through a shoutout from another coach friend. Two months later now, in my last episode I talked to my first guests Jennifer and her sister Steph Sutto. Did I believe at the time she will say yes? Absolutely! I read her Instagram posts and watched all her stories and knew that she is super friendly in the online space so I take landing on her profile to be my sign. Maybe she’s not in my perfect target client market because she’s a lot younger or her company makes glitter which has nothing to do with my coaching niche. But I don’t wait for a sign, I just take it as a sign.
One of my client messaged me 4 months ago that she heard me talk on a podcast and she thought I was a sign for her to become a life coach. after 3 months of working together she already has the most amazing website, she has her program ready and she is ready to impact the world. She didn’t wait any longer for a sign she was openly ready to receive whatever was given to her as a sign and she took action.
The moment you decide to wait, you start calculating a list of reasons as to why right now isn’t the right time. Then you double think and triple think in your head as to why something you want won’t work out. You will then absolutely be convinced that the timing isn’t right. If this continues for the rest of your life, you will never have what you truly want in life. And by that I don’t mean materialistic things, but also intangible things like happiness and freedom.
